  • JUN-JUL: Cub Scout Day Camps 2019

    Come out to our exciting day camps this year, and experience a week of adventure. Accept the challenge and join the fun at this years Game of Cubs. These week-long camps occur throughout the summer, and are open to Cub Scouts Tiger-Webelos.
  • AUG: Venturing Recognition Banquet

    The Alamo Area Council, VOA invites you to the Annual Venturing Banquet. Join us for food, fun, and fellowship, Venturing Leadership Awards and other Awards will be presented at this event. Come join us to celebrate the great accomplishments of the year!

    The Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council and your San Antonio Missions bring you Americas favorite past time in 2019! So pack your tents and head out to Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium on Saturday, June 15th to watch the San Antonio Missions!
  • Spring/Summer: Mays Family Scout Ranch Programs 2019

    The Mays Family Scout Ranch is offering Cub Scout Adventure programs and Boy Scout Merit Badges for the 2019 year.   • JUN: 2019 Swim Checks and Lessons

    Swim classification tests (swim checks) should be renewed annually at the beginning of the outdoor season and are required for any Scout attending Scout's BSA Scout Camp or Webelos Outdoor Adventure Camp. The Alamo Area Council offers swim lessons to Scouts (ages 6+) as well as swim checks.
  • USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Training offered to Scout Leaders

    We are offering a one time training to be certified as a USA Archery Level 1 Instructor.
