Scoutmaster/ASM Leader Specific Training Now ONLINE!

To be considered trained a Scoutmaster/ASM must take Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, Youth Protection Training (YPT) and Introduction to Outdoor Leaderskills (IOLS). 

Alamo Area Council offers all of these classes as in-person trainings, and those trainings can be found HERE.

Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training is now offered online through https://my.scouting.org/

In order to take the training you must sign in or create an account if you don't have one.  Then you can find the training under the dashboard and then the training center.  The training will be listed under the Boy Scouting and Varsity Training. 

Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters may complete this training online, though IOLS still remains an overnight, camping experience. 

Another note: Troop Committee Challenge is still offered online and is accessible through www.my.scouting.org with an updated course.
