Exploring is a workforce development program designed to foster and sustain partnerships between businesses and youth (10-20 years old). Exploring also provides hands-on workforce development education which allows both boys and girls to explore different career fields. It uses a proven model that includes leadership, character development, life skills, volunteer service, and citizenship.

Our council serves the Alamo Area and the 12 surrounding counties and provides students with an opportunity to learn about a variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields.  Learn more at www.exploring.orgExternal Link.

Give the Adventure is our annual giving campaign, it enables us to impact the lives of our 450 Exploring youth each year within the Alamo Area and the 12 surrounding counties. This Give the Adventure effort not only sustains our services to current explorers, parents, leaders and communities, but helps to extend the program to youth that have not yet had the opportunity to join. In 2017 our council's Exploring Program grew in youth membership by 16%. This growth has allowed the youth within our community to really benefit and learn from our exploring program. Please consider helping our youth today by donating.
